A Birthday Card with Bright Colors

Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I had a friend ask me to make a birthday card recently, and for this one I used some punched circles made from scraps. I used a glue stick to adhere them to the black card stock and then ran it through the Big Kick with a square lattice embossing folder. I matted the panel with some green galore card stock and added some satin ribbon in a matching color. The sentiment is a digi from SNSS. It was pretty quick and easy to make, and yet I love the festive look of it.
Speaking of festive, I wish everyone a happy New Year's eve celebration, whether you're going out to party or spending a quiet evening at home. Every year I fight sleep to stay up and watch the ball drop in Times Square NYC, and then wonder why I tried so hard to stay up and watch it? It's the same thing every year, KWIM? LOL Nothing changes at all, except I have to remember to write the new year on my checks in January :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2012!

Carol

Another great job. Happy New Year! I'm not sure I'll even make the ball dropping. I usually don't.
