I used an older S&S sketch for my card and used all BoBunny dp. The stars were cut with a punch and I added a mini star brad to each one. The sentiment is from SU! and was done in night of navy ink. I also used navy and real red cardstock for mats.
This card was made for the S&S challenge #5 in the OWH birthday bash found here. Sandy made 2 new state digis and they're free! This challenge is to d/l one (or both) of the free digis and make a card. I used plum pudding card stock from PTI, along with a scrap of pale yellow. I colored the image with Copics, and added some embossing with the CB swiss dots ef, and finished it with a little piece of yellow gingham ribbon.
This card was made for the SNSSIC3 challenge found here. If you click the link, you'll see the beautiful inspirational photo we were to use for inspiration. I made this sympathy card for a friend of mine who needed one. I used the SU Hello Doily backgrounder stamp and embossed it with Versamark ink and white EP. I chose pumpkin pie card stock along with some cool caribbean for this; embossing the horizontal panel with a TH damask ef, and punching the edges with a SU scalloped punch. This was colored with Copics and I added a MS punched butterfly with a couple of Kaiser pearls. I had a tiny piece of sheer ribbon left in my stash - just big enough to tie a knot, but not a bow!

I've been having issues with my colors here on blogger for a few days. Everything I highlight in red turns blue when I hit the publish button? Ah well, I guess that works just as well.
I hope you're all having a great Labor Day holiday here in the US! Thanks for stopping by!
Carol

Carol, All of your cards are beautiful. Each one is so different from the other. I think my favorite is the state flower one. The polka Dot paper with the purple paper looks so good. Still no energy to make cards. Found a couple of hours to spend with Hubby this morning before he went back to work and then it was off to the stores. Just got back and now I'm shot again. This getting old is not fun, everything hurts with every little thing you do. I'll try to post tomorrow.

Had to go out shopping all day today t
I back peddled until I got to my last comment. Phew, you are making enough cards for both of us, and they are all so unique and colored to perfection. Gimmie 40 days and I promise things will calm down for the winter. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteWow - you've been really busy with the crafty card-making! All of these are beautiful....and I love them all. As much as I love patriotic cards, though, I'm gonna have to say the orange card at the bottom has a slight edge with me this time....it's just gorgeous!
