This week's
Crazy4Cocoa & Friends challenge has a theme of "Americana." Americana refers to cultural artifacts, cooking, art, architecture, and history that distinctly reflects the US culture. This could mean apple pie, baseball, Rock'n Roll music, or anything that reflects the American culture. For my Americana card, I chose the flag and the colors of red, white, and blue. I used the
patriotic Cocoa digi image and colored him with Copics, adding a few touches of gold with a gold paint pen. The papers are from BoBunny, and I used a CB star embossing folder on the blue panel. My card will be going into my next OWH box as an "any hero" card.
I hope during this very busy official last week of summer, you can find time to play along with us and create something "Americana." When uploading to the galleries, please use the keyword C4C13.
Thanks for checking in, and have a fabulous day!
Carol
