The head honcho/president/fearless leader of OWH - the one and only Sandy Allnock - is celebrating her birthday today!! Happy Birthday Sandy!!! I hope it's one of your best yet!To help celebrate the occasion, the Stars and Stamps blog is having a special edition sketch challenge this week by giving us 3 sketches along with some free Frantoonie digis created only for OWH card use. The card above uses sketch #62, while the one below is one of the 2 bonus sketches. I won't have time for the 3rd one today, but maybe later on this week I'll be able to catch up.
The image was printed and colored with Copics, and I used some PTI berry sorbet cardstock and ribbon along with some SU dp.
This is another of Fran's digi's, and this one was done in all PTI plum pudding cardstock and DP. You know all of us purple-lovin' girls gotta get our purple fix every week :) I stamped the white polka dots in the background using white craft ink and the SU polka dot background stamp. This one is very basic which will make for easy mailing. It's nice and flat which means I can stuff more cards in my next box for OWH.That will do it for me for this Sunday, but Sandy, I wish you a great birthday, in spite of that big clunky cast you're wearing these days!

These are both adorable cards. I absolutely love the the colors on this one and the coloring is spot on again. The dp worked very well with the polka dots in the ribbon. Fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteThe second is just as precious. I love the stamped polka dots. They don't even look stamps, it look like dp. Coloring-perfect. We went out this morning so I didn't have time to start coloring. I seem to be doing worse rather than better with my coloring this week. ???? Anyway, hope the rest of your day is good and you enjoy the race. I'm missing it so far today, but I'll catch up now. Hugs
