Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone is staying warm in this bitter cold weather!First up is a card I made for the StampSimply#121 challenge where Sharon challenges us to create a Valentine, heart-shape, or lovey type theme for our card. They don't get much simpler than this one! I stamped the 4 CTMH heart stamps with real red on white cardstock, and then used a square punch and a scalloped punch to cut and layer them. A piece of red grosgrain ribbon and this card was done in a flash!
This cute Penny Black image was stamped and sent to me by my friend Michelle of StampersDream.com, so I decided to use it to create a card for the CCEE1001 sketch challenge I just learned about yesterday. I colored the image with Tombows and added a few silver sequins to the hearts on the cup for added interest. I used DP in shades of pretty in pink, along with passion pink cardstock, layered with black. The ovals were cut with petite Nestabilities and popped up with foam tape. Michelle enclosed a few small heart-shaped stick pins with my last order, and I had a few larger ones in my stash, so I added 2 pins to this, and created a tiny bow with my bow-maker for finishing touches. After looking at this photo closely I realize I forgot to color the cat's tiny nose! Oops!! The sentiment is from the SU! So Many Sayings set and stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

ReplyDeleteya know, gf....they are both so fabulous....however...I wish PB would make the same stamp with a pup in the cup......that kitty is awfully cute though (even though it is a cat....lol)...thanks so much for playing with the CCEE...hope you can do so often
