Summer Birthday Dress

I made this card for a friend who celebrates her birthday in July using some very old retired SU! dsp called Haiku - along with a retired SU! framelit die set called Dress Up. I love the shades of orange, yellow and green with those big flowers which all remind me of summer. I used some artichoke green for the dress stand, adding some tiny pearls for a necklace. I found some hot orange twine to tie around the waist and added a Sweet'n Sassy sentiment panel done on some daffodil yellow cardstock. The background was embossed with a CB decorative tiles ef.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Okay, here is Jill, with another confession. I have this stamp and the die even to match. I have NOT used it yet...and then I read it is RETIRED!!!
Okay, Jill, Note to self, You must use this die this week!

Such pretty dress you have created with some little scraps and the beautiful EF! :D Love the idea and the little lovely details you added, as the pearls and the twine! All the composition is elegant and summery!
