My card today began with a smooshed water-colored background done with several distress inks. After it was dry, I splashed a few drops of water onto it for some interest and fun. The butterfly is by Memory Box and I die cut it in black along with several other bright colors, interchanging the negatives for some intense color. The main image panel was die-cut with GMD stitched squares and matted with black. The turquoise card base was die-cut with Lil Inker stitched rectangles. The SNSS sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and the final touch was to add a trail behind the butterfly with some tiny black gemstones.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Shopping our Stash #313 - butterflies, bees, and bugs
Seize the Birthday - always a birthday card with an option of "splatter"
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - anything goes
Thanks for fluttering by and I wish you a wonderful day!
