Here's a get-well card I made recently for someone who's having some unexpected health issues, but it could also be for any of you who did a little too much celebrating over the new year's holiday! I'm retired now but I remember those days of having to drag myself back to work on Monday after having a week off to celebrate the holidays. It's "ruff!" LOL
I started with one of Tim Holtz's crazy dog images, coloring him with Copics and fussy cutting him to put on the white die-cut stitched circle panel. I matted that with red, using MFT stitched circle dies, and added a Quickutz die-cut corner that was embossed with a Sizzix plaid ef. The background pieces were done with Dapper Denim that were first stamped with a retired SU! flannel background stamp in Versamark, then clear embossed to give it a worn look. The letters for the sentiment were done with my Quickutz and I added some silver and gold brads for the final touch.
I have to share this with the Snippets Playground #262 because I used snippets of cardstock to put the whole card together.
Wishing you a very happy Monday and a good start to the new year as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
