I made this card for my hubby as we will celebrate our 48th anniversary in 5 days. I made it all silver and gold to enter into the Double D challenges for "Silver and Gold." They Shared the following mood board to inspire us to make silver and gold creations...
I had no clue what to make for an anniversary card until I saw this challenge and figured those colors would make a festive and pretty card for an anniversary that's right in between Christmas and New Year's Day.
I used a SU! Bloomin' Heart thinlet die to cut the heart from silver glittered cardstock, and then cut the matching flowers with some gold glittered cardstock. I attached silver brads to the center of each flower but they look gold in the photo. (Click to enlarge the photo) The striped SU! dsp is gold/vanilla, while the PTI scalloped heart banner die was done with mirror gold cardstock and tied with some SU! silver ribbon. The sentiment was done with silver stickers and placed on vanilla cardstock to match the card base.
Thanks for checking in and I wish you a great Friday!
