I recently won the Tuesday Throwdown challenge which included a generous prize package from Lawn Fawn, and my prize arrived 2 days ago, so I could hardly wait to use the new goodies to make a card! I'm using their "Oh Snap" stamp set, along with some of their fun "Polka in the Dark" designer paper. I already owned their "Tag, You're It!" dies used here. I stamped the broken gingerbread boy, and colored him with Copics, added white mini brads for buttons, then fussy cut him and popped him up on foam tape on the black tag. I stamped the unbroken boys on the cardbase, and added matching orange buttons with a Copic to coordinate with the polka dot paper. (click to enlarge for detail) Finally, I added some orange, white, and black twines to the tag just for fun. Thanks to Lawn Fawn and Tuesday Throwdown's challenge for this fun prize!
I'm entering this (of course) into the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #261 which is anything goes.
I'm also entering this into Darnell's NBUS challenge # 5 since the image and papers are "never before used schtuff."
On this 14th anniversary of the senseless attack on NYC, I hope you'll take a moment to remember those lost or injured, and say a prayer for those who've lost so much. May this troubled world one day learn to live peacefully with one another.
Take good care and have a peaceful and beautiful day! Thanks for stopping by!
