Sympathy in Vanilla

When I saw this week's MFP Speedy Fox & Friends challenge #277 was to make a sympathy card, I immediately went to work making one. My stash of sympathy cards is just about depleted.

I went for an elegant look with this one, using a HA sentiment embossed in gold and placed on a SB labels 25 die cut, edged with a gold paint pen. The MA ribbon was done up in a big bow with the Bow Easy, and I embossed the background with a TH/Sizzix damask ef. For the final touch, I added some gold mini hearts randomly to break up all the vanilla color.

We'll be watching the national/international championship game of the Little League World Series finals today, and we're so proud of the RedLand team from PA for winning the national championship game last night! They'll face Japan today after they defeated a wonderful little team from TX yesterday. The coaching, talent and sportsmanship between PA and TX was phenomenal and so much fun to watch! The attendance for yesterday's game was over 46,000 - more than some major league ballparks! Awesome!!

Go RedLand!

Stunning card Carol! I should do the same thing...I have had to use most of my sympathy cards too. I like to have them on hand...because I am so slow in making cards...and I find them more difficult to make when I NEED to make on.

Seems the sympathy cards go very quickly. This is quite elegant and the bow is dreamy. Go Redland, indeed!

Beautiful and elegant sympathy card! It will provide much comfort when needed. I like to make a few ahead myself - I find it hard to make them when I need them.
