Here's my card for this week's OWH Stars and Stamps sketch challenge #200. I'm using a fun little pre-colored digi from CraftyMoments. Even though these little mice look so happy doing their little jig, I didn't want to wait for St. Patrick's day to use them, so I made a fun card for right now. The sentiment was computer generated and the paper has been in my stash for quite a while. I accented with turquoise snippets and used a MS button punch, adding some twine from Pizzazz Aplenty for the final touch.
Since I used snippets, I'll be taking this card over to the Snippets Playground week #100.
OWH midweek throwdown was to make a masculine birthday card, but the linky tool never showed up, so I'll share my card here today instead. I used a Tim Holtz image stamped with black onyx versafine ink & embossed it with clear ep. I used a retired SU! flannel background stamp right over the top with some desert sand ink. I die cut the panel with a SB labels 18, edging with a black marker around the inside of the die before cutting. I sponged the panel with pink, blue & green Ranger inks, and added a few mini star brads. The background panels were stamped, sponged, distressed and torn, and the sentiment panel was a pre-printed piece I've had in my stash forever. Looking at an older car like this indicates the changes through the years, so I thought it would make a great birthday card for an elderly relative or friend.
That's all I have for today, so thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week ahead!
