Catching up with OWH challenges

I haven't felt much like making cards for a while but I decided I'd catch up with the OWH Stars and stamps challenges in spite of my mojo-less mood.
First up is today's sketch challenge #175, and I pulled out some Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, and Pool party cardstocks for my card.

I used a SU! stamp set called "cuter by the inch" and added some mini brads, kaiser pearls, and some matching ribbon. The background was embossed with a Sizzix damask ef.

This is my take on the midweek throwdown which is "transportation." That's a Tim Holtz image that was embossed with black, and cut with a SB labels 18 die. The hexes were hand cut, and I added small stars from matching dsp by DCWV. A few gold brads finished this card.

Lastly, is the ODBD monthly challenge for OWH which is "water." My friend won this stamp set by playing along in a previous ODBD challenge for OWH, and while we were recently stamping together, I stamped this beautiful image and sentiment. I put the card together a while ago and never posted it, but it's perfect for this challenge. I colored it with Copics and added Spica glitter pen accents. I added some tiny hearts done with a SU! owl punch and photographed the card before the glue dried. Oops! I added a couple snippets of ribbon for a little interest.
Now I'm caught up and can take a little breather. I wish you all a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

Great cards, Carol! I don't want to hear that you have nojo and don't feel like making cards! Eek, say it isn't true?! I have lots of your cards in my inspiration folder and know that you also inspire LOTS of others! Enjoy your breather, but don't breathe too long, okay? Wait. That doesn't sound right.

Carol, You've been busy! All three cards are great, but the first is by far my favorite. I absolutely love your interpretation of the sketch. The embossed background is fabulous and I really like what you did with the 4 squares.

Just perfect. I love the little squares you have used for the sketch. Your embellishments with the car are just right. And don't you love it when you can borrow a friend's crafty supplies!

Carol, if these cards are examples of your creativity when mojo-less, you are truly an inspiration to me! These are great. I like your images on the "transportation" and "water" challenges especially. I'm still catching up.

For someone who claims to have lost her mojo, you sure accomplished a lot. All three cards are great, but my personal favorite is the first--I'm impressed by all the great stamping and embossing on that one.

Mojo-Less? Not you, Carol. But, I guess we all get that way occasionally. Anyway, you got a lot of fabulous cards created. I love the sentiment with that beautiful scene on the last one. They're all terrific.

If this is you feeling "mojo-less" I am in amazement, lol. Great colors on the SS #175 challenge. I like that damask emboss too! I really liked how you placed the brads on the "hubcaps" of the truck for the midweek throwdown and that last one for the ODB challenge of water, wow. It's just perfectly beautiful! Great coloring and wonderful sentiment they made to go with it! Thanks so much for sharing. Tamara

I'll have to remember the color combo you used for the sketch, as it looks great! You have been so busy and though you may have been without mojo, you were not without creativity. Great job on all the cards!

For having no mojo...you rocked out all these challenges... the last is my fave of the three as the coloring is stunning! I am behind on the MWT and ODBD challenges due to a lack of time...it is always easier to work up the mojo. tfs!!!

Wow! You have been super busy! I am obviously super behind on my commenting and visiting! These are all wonderful with very trendy colors and images. I was kind of tired of making cards after this weekend, but now I want to jump right back in the scrap room now and make some more after seeing your fun cards. Well done. Hugz!
