Christmas card challenge #117 going on over at Speedy Fox & Friends this week, and I've been getting ahead of the game and doing my Christmas cards early this year! I used a TH Sizzix bigz die for this, and added veins to the holly leaves with a stylus, then went over them with holly stickles. The branch was done with a scrap of brown and I added copper stickles in keeping with the sparkly look. The berries were done with a tiny scrap of red card stock, and the sentiment was embossed with gold ep.
Perfect sentiments PSC41, which has a theme this week of anything goes, plus a sentiment on the front. I see that neon inks are very trendy right now, but I've been playing with my neon Copics for quite a while, so the pink you see on this card was done with that hot neon Copic marker on white cardstock. I made this for my sweet blogging friend Donna who celebrated her birthday earlier this week. She has two precious female Yorkies, which is why I added the pink color to this card. I used really rust for the mat, border and sentiment panel, and cut with squares, scalloped squares, and postage stamp dies from SB, adding a SNSS hearts border die and a SB ribbon tag for the SNSS sentiment. The background was embossed with a SU! fancy fan ef, and the bow was done with the Bow-easy in ivory satin ribbon. I hope you had a great birthday Donna and this little fur-girl says "Woof!" too :)
I may be back later with another card - we shall see how that goes! Thanks for spending a moment of your day with me here, and have a super day!
