A Year of Reflecting

The Stars and Stamps blog is asking us to post our favorite top ten cards we've sent to heroes in 2011, so I'm just going to post the photos without explanations since they've already been posted! Seeing these cards has given me some new inspiration to create more OWH cards again. Mission accomplished :) Enjoy!

Hi Carol! This hop is a great "refresher" course in cardmaking! Your selection is gorgeous; you have an eye for choosing DPs. I especially love how you stamped and then cut the strips for the "Missing You" card. Inspired idea. Happy New Year!

Positively beautiful cards. My favorite color combination is red, black and white so the first card really struck me.

I enjoyed all of your cards. I particularly like the missing you ones I like the one with the strip in the middle and the design at an angle. I put that one in my inspiration folder. Simple but so elegant and timeless

This is a super collection of cards - some serious, some whimsical, all terrific! You do a wonderful job of creating texture with the embossing folders as well as the use of multiple layers.

Great cards, Carol! I see some sketch cards in there! I always look forward to seeing what you do with a sketch. Thanks so much for your participation this year!

I love all of your cards...just beautiful. BUT, I have to admit I REALLY love the very first card at the top. I love the 2 different types of hearts you embossed and how they are are layered. What a GREAT idea. I just need to figure out what embossing folders those are. I own one heart folder, it will give me a reason to get a new one!

Carol, what an amazing collection of cards. I love each one!
I was just going through trying to pick my top ten for another person that is doing this and I found it to be very hard. I have 25 that I listed and only wanted to remove three. Now, that won't work so I may just give up.

So much dimension on that eagle card. Love it! Enjoy 2012!
