A Valentine for 2 Challenges

I made this card earlier today but never got a chance to photograph it or post it until much later. I created this for 2 challenges - the StampinB's challenge #92 and the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge CCMC132. The StampinB's challenge is hosted this week by Joanne and she asked us to use an old favorite and something brand spankin' new on our cards! The new on my card is the DP - a gorgeous piece from a MM wedding stack I just got yesterday in the mail. (Thanks again Heidi). The old is the square Nesties - probably the first set of Nesties that I bought. The heart was done with a retired SU! set called Polka Dot Punches and was embossed with silver EP and punched with the SU! heart punch. The ribbon and silver heart brads were from my stash. The sentiment is by Inkadinkado.
The sketch over at the CCMC132 is an easy one and makes for one beautiful card, so I created a valentine card. I hope to be able to create some cards for the St Judes Valentine card drive, and this one might be thrown into the mix, in spite of it being a bit on the adult side. If you want to contribute cards to St Judes Valentine Card Drive, you can find the details here.
Thanks for these 2 great challenges ladies and thanks to all of you for stopping by! We're supposed to get more snow here in PA tomorrow, so I hope to get more stamping done :) Bye for now!

Carol

OMG, you really did finish off my card for me in the red, black, and white. I can tell you, if mine had looked this good, I would have never made it over into another color. This is totally gorgeous. I love that silver embossed heart and the ribbon is g-a-w-g-e-o-u-s!
You really know how to make a Valentine!!!
