Here's the sketch from the OWH stars and stamps blog for challenge #32. It got really hot again in PA, so I'm hibernating indoors where it's cool and stamping a few cards for my next OWH box. This sketch enabled me to use scraps which I always love. I love the little SU! embosslit for these butterflies, but there are always a lot left over, so I'm putting some of them to use on the cards I've made today.
This one was accented with teal card stock and a Tim Holtz texture fades embossing folder. Sentiment is from MFP. (Mark's Finest Papers)
For this one I used a scrap of lavender and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Sentiment by MFP.
For this one I used a scrap of PTI dp and a different sentiment from MFP. I added a few antennae and some tails with a black marker.
Quick and easy cards, and I always love when I can dig into my huge stash of scraps and die cuts!
Stay cool, see ya soon!

Carol, Just posted my Challenge Card and saw your post. What a great series of a beautiful card! I would love to replicate them for some OWH cards if I may! I used the Puppy Mail image I first saw on your site for my card and loved the way it came out. Another beautiful and creative job Carol. Blessings
What fabulous creations from extras!!
very nice cards. love the butterflies and how each card is a little different
Carol, what a pretty collection of butterfly cards! I especially like how you placed the sentiment in an opening in the border. I'm not sure how you do that but I'll have to try it!
Wow, Wow and WOW! Three beautiful creations, by that fabulous card artist, CAROL!!! You amaze me, with what you create! The butterflies are all wonderful and I'm still gazing to pick out my favorite...
Great job witht he butterflies...Now you want me to put the die on my wish list...You are an enabler...smile...Hugs, Jill
LOVE the butterfly cards! You asked what my preferences were when I came over to play - I've since learned that I'm a butterfly person - picked up a few new butterfly stamps and I've been eyeing that die since I left your place! Next time we're together I may just bring some of my scraps and spend the whole time cutting butterflies! :o)
I love the borders on these cards! One of my favorite things to do!
Carol, thanks for telling me how you make the open border; awesome. I also meant to say I love your embossed butterflies.
These are fantastic. They remind me of the framed butterfly collections a friend brought back from Brazil years ago.
Oh Carol your butterfly cards are so beautiful.
Hugs

Hi Carol, I love your sketch card and isn't it fun using a marker to outline a clean and simple card like that!
