There's a challenge going on over on StampTV this week to do some sewing on your card, either with a machine or adding hand sewing, buttons, etc. Ever since I dug my machine from the darkness of my closet a few weeks ago, I've been using it more often........not to mend the things that need it, but to sew on my cards! LOL I find that I enjoy the look of real stitches because it reminds me of the comforts of home somehow. I used an old GinaK stamp set that I won a long time ago, but I love to color the image and use it for birthday cards. This time I used scraps of textured pastel cardstock and randomly cut them different sizes and sewed them all together. It probably would have made a great baby card with these colors, but hopefully someone will enjoy getting this for their birthday. I added some dew drops and a piece of PTI satin ribbon and another birthday card was done!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
