Look what we woke up to this morning in southeastern PA!! We're having blizzard-like conditions with bitter cold temperatures. We have several inches of the white stuff on the ground and it's still snowing steadily and very windy. It's pretty to look at, but I'm still thinking spring, flowers and warm, sunny days. I can dream can't I? *sigh*Did anyone in the Philly area watch the NASCAR race yesterday? Were you as annoyed as I was with the Fox network interruptions for weather updates every 15 minutes? It was so frustrating I turned the race off after an hour of that nonsense. Why do tv networks think the public needs these constant reports on impending snow storms? My gosh, it's like we've never seen or been able to deal with snow in our lives or something! Even this morning, all network shows were pre-empted so that local stations could report the snow from various locations. It's going to be a day without tv in my house today, for sure!

I so agree with you on the weather forecasts interrupting programs..........the snow came, we shoveled, well, I didn't, and the plows ran and its over........why do they have to act like it is such a big deal.
