Autumn Birthday Cards

I pulled out a very old Spellbinder's leaf die and cut 2 leaves with some glittered green cardstock snippets I wanted to use up and made a couple of cards. I embossed a black strip of cardstock with a Darice Autumn leaves embossing folder and added 2 die-cut green checked panels on the sides by using a MFT notched border die. The sentiment is pre-printed from SSS and I added a twine bow to the leaf. I added some black Nuvo drops to the 2nd card just to add a little interest.

I'll share with the following challenges:

the Allsorts Challenge week #745 - A/G or use die cuts

Can You Handle the Pressure? -A/G using an embossing folder with an optional twist of "trees."

Wishing everyone a pleasant day and thanks so much for stopping by!

  9. That leaf looks awesome cut by that glittered green, I enlarged the photo and admired it so much! And paired with that black embossed stripe pops very well! I can see you used again that notched border die, it's very effective to add "something" to masculine cards and just perfect with the checked pattern. You are always so good with masculine cards, well done making two with this design!
Here the nights are more fresh so we can sleep LOL, but the sun is still hot. Well, good for my growing pumpkins, hope to have some for the winter :D This Summer was too much hot for the pumpkins plants, they suffered the sun and the hot air, so didn't made their fruits, but now they are growing well. Fingers crossed for a nice warm autumn.
Sending big hugs and love on your way, dear friend! Take care!
