I made this card for my cousin who celebrated an epic birthday. He's still going strong and I couldn't be happier for him. For the background I used some Nuvo shimmer powder and spritzed it with water, adding some silver metallic highlights. After it was dry, I embossed it with a Sizzix Hello Friend ef. I die-cut the numbers from silver mirror cardstock, and matted them with matching blue cardstock, white and a silver panel, then added a silver-matted Simon Says Stamp pre-printed sentiment and called this one done.
I will enter this into the Happy Little Stampers Birthday Challenge for July which is Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteI was looking at card and the numbers...and it reminded me of what I did for my brother in law this year... I made him a card with 75 on it...and gave him a small cake with the candles which had a 7and a 5 on it. He didn't like the 75 on the cake...so I took them off and which'd them around and poked them back in the cake so they would read 57...(He liked that much better....smile!
