My card today is for the Critter Crazy Challenge #73 and I've been asked to guest design. I pulled this cute image (unknown manufacturer) from my box of stamped images I've accumulated through the years and colored it with Copics and a pink glaze pen. I cut both the image and lavender mat panels with stitched square dies and added the image to a background I created with 4 strips of pastel cardstock embossed with a Sunny Studios embossing folder. I die-cut the word "hugs" with an Impression Obsession die 3 times and stacked each one on top of another for a little dimension.

Congrats for your GD dear Carol, so well deserved! Your card just radiates tenderness and cuteness!! It's really adorable!! Cats and dogs could be friends also in real life, but these two seem just the image of peace and love at all :) And such sweet design with those pastel panels embossed with a trellis hearts pattern! That light pink "hugs" is a perfect detail! As always, your design looks amazing and impressive without need of embellishments and I admire so much your skills!

ReplyDeleteOh. My. Word! I am in love!!! First off, what a darling card Carol! I love that sweet image and you have colored these cuties up so well. But it is that embossing folder that I've fallen in love with! So dainty, so gorgeous! I am also in love with the pastel stripes you used, those colors are right up my alley. Yay, I love the stacked "hugs" too, stacking gave it so much presence. Don't you just love the look of stacking?!!
