It's Been a While

Life has thrown some curves my way recently which kept me from my crafting table, but I did find some time to make Halloween treats. Today I have a sampling of some of them, using assorted snippets of cardstock, ribbons, papers, stamps, punches, dies and embellishments. These are KitKat bars enclosed in little treat holders ready for hand-outs to bank tellers, supermarket cashiers and people we interact with on a regular basis. We no longer have kids visiting for treats, but I found that adult workers appreciate these as much as the kiddies do, so I keep making them every year.
If anyone wants to know anything I used to make these, just leave a comment or email me and I'll do my best to fill you in on the details.
More treats to come a bit later too.

Entering these into the following challenges:

If you're still with me, thanks so much. I hate that it's taken me so long between posts, but priorities change and my attention has been focused elsewhere for a while. Thanks for the visit and take good care!

Carol

  1. These are wonderful and will make someone so happy. I think I have that Martha Stewart spider punch and didn't get it out this year. I hope you and your family are okay and things are back on track for you.

  2. CORRRRR! Brilliant Carol. What a feast for the eyes and SO many snippets used up too.

Just what we need up in the Snippets Playground Treehouse to go with our mugs of hot chocolate. That sugar rush should give us plenty of energy . . . . wheeeeeeeeeee!

Sorry to hear you've had a few problems. I hope they are soon resolved.

    Hugs, Sarn xxx

  17. That is such a sweet (literally! :)), thoughtful way to spread Halloween season cheer.

Awesome festive season creations. I find myself more into ghosts this year than ever before, so am especially drawn to your treat boxes starring phantoms.

I am deeply sorry that life has been putting you through the wringer big time as of late, Carol, and am wishing you much, much calmer waters in the remaining weeks of 2021.

  21. These treat boxes are so unique and different Carol! I love the shape of them. You have decorated them up to cute! Yep, we adults still love treats too, not just for kids! lol I don't know why life has to keep throwing us curves like it does, but it gets old doesn't it?!! Can't we have easy after a certain age?! I think I'm going to put that order in for you! Thinking of you and keeping you guys in my prayers. Big hugs, Brenda

  23. Hey there Carol! I was wondering what happened as I hadn't seen any posts recently. I left on vacation on the 9th, so I haven't been around myself and catching up today. Really love those Halloween treat containers and I always look for them from you each season! Thanks for sharing and hope all is well! HUGS
