Hello

I made a quick "hello" card with some dark pink cardstock and a few snippets of pink & grey dsp to make this card. I used a Memory Box Woodland branch die for the bird to sit on. The leaves were done with an EK leaves border punch, and the bird was a die cut from Impression Obsession. I turned the white bird into a bluebird with a Copic marker and gave him an eye with a black marker, and finally added the tiny greeting done with a stamp from the Beautiful Bouquet set by SU!

I'm sharing this with the Dies R Us challenge #142 - anything goes
using dies sold in the DiesRUs store - (I.O. Bird)

I'm also sharing with the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #366

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Monday. Thanks for stopping by.

Carol

  1. I feel like that bird out on a limb! Day 24 feels like day 104. This is quite lovely, and a great sketch. The patterned papers really draw your eyes toward the bird.
The damp morning grass has gotten a dose of spring fertilizer, and now we sit and see what the rest of this pretty day has to offer! Be well.

  8. Pink and grey go together so well and I love the way you've tiered the rectangles so it leads the eye direct to the birdie in his tree. I wish we were all free as the birds are atm, life is getting hard and sad... but a sweet hello card always raises a smile :) x
