Thinking of You



This card started with a panel of water colored paper that was spritzed with water and sprinkled with blue Nuvo shimmer powder. I die-cut the panel with a stitched square die and added a mat of red. The two designer papers were in my stash of snippets so I layered them in keeping with the red & blue color theme. The MB butterfly was done in red and a pastel yellow and seemed to match the colors well enough, so I added that, along with a SU! sentiment and some bling of red, blue, and a pale blue pearl. I wish I'd used a different color card base than white, but it's finished so I'm going to leave it alone.

  9. Great work with the sketch, not an easy one to pull off but you did it justice. The Nuvo powder is such an intense colour for your pretty butterfly and it really draws your eye in... pretty colour scheme x

  16. Oh, I like that repeat pattern and pretty paper. The blue is a lovely background to showcase that butterfly. It looks red and kraft on my screen and either way, it is gorgeous.

  22. Love the choice of colours, they work so well together and the texture of the butterfly looks great! Beautiful water coloured panel, it gives the idea of a lovely sunny sky! :) Great design as always, and the white base for me is good, make the patterned papers pop out!
