Encouragement

My card today was made for encouragement. I began with a SB labels 18 die cut that I edged with a black marker while it was still in the die, I stamped it with a Verve sentiment and then added a couple Cheery Lynn mini flourishes, topping them with SU! punched mini flowers and black gemstone centers. I placed it all on a SU! tulip embossed piece and added it to a white card base.

I'm entering this into the Just Us Girls Trend Week #496 challenge which is to make the sentiment the main focus of the card.

Wishing each and every one of you a miracle in your life. Life is precious and tomorrow is never promised for any of us.

Thanks for stopping by and hug your loved ones today.

Carol

  1. So very true, Carol. Life ha many twists and turns. This black and white card is super striking.Every time you use those mini flowers, I kick myself for not buying those punches. I also remember when you finally found that embossing folder that you had longed for. Beautiful.

  15. This is so pretty! I love the simple white and that sentiment is beautiful in that die shape. I have the same embossed border folder which I use all the time myself. Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls.

  16. This is just beautiful Carol, I need to get out some dies and use this pen technique while it is still in the die. I used to do it a good bit but haven't in a long time. I forgot how because it is when you do it like this. I love the flourish with the flowers as well, finishes off this sentiment label perfectly. And that sits on the embossed card making this a very elegant card. Hugs, Brenda
