Christmas in July

Here's a quick and easy Christmas card made in traditional colors of red and green. The embossed panel was made at a friend's house a long time ago and I'm sorry, I have no idea who makes the embossing folder, but it seemed to be perfect for this CAS design. EDIT: Mary Anne let me know it's an older Tim Holtz embossing folder, thanks M.A.! The sentiment is from SU! Sincere Salutations and I added a red mat; some tiny red gems, and some hunter green ribbon to match the card base. If I had this embossing folder, I'd probably make a few more cards like this!

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

MLCCB#12 - a/g Christmas

Thanks for stopping by and try to stay cool!

  7. Lovely CAS Christmas card, Carol. The embossed background is beautiful, I don't think I've come across that embossing folder. The Crafty Calendar Challenge is still running for a couple of days, where the theme is 'Christmas in July'. It would be lovely to see your card in the gallery. xx
