Stenciled Birthday

Over a year ago I picked up a stencil on sale by TCW called Queen Anne's Lace fragment, and never used it until now. I wasn't quite sure how to use it, but I experimented and made a birthday card. I sponged the colors of citron, lemonade and marmalade Distress inks around the stencil, adding some WOS to the tips of the flowers, and then adding some gold beads and eventually some gold glitter glue. I wish now that I'd just added the gold beads, but live and learn. The sentiment is by SNSS and I added one more tiny gold bead to the black panel.

This isn't one of my favorite cards, but I'll enter it into the following challenges:

Shopping our Stash #397 - Stencil me This

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great week ahead.
