I made a card with a GMD die-cut rose and some vellum leaves done with a paper crimper and put them all on a strip of mauve cardstock over a white embossed background done with a CB decorative tiles ef. I added some black Nuvo drops to add a little interest and printed a sentiment inside that lends encouragement for someone fighting a serious illness. I based this card on the sketch from MFTWSC403 so I'll enter it there.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Absolutely gorgeous, Carol! I don't think I have ever seen a more prettier card! That rose is amazing as is the colors! :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, I would like to see how the crimper works to make the leaves. They look really nice. (I don’t have a crimper though, lol)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful flower and you've done a stunning job with the sketch Carol! The leaves with the texture add a wonderful dimension!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful die cut!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card from that sketch Carol! I love the colors you chose and I love how you did your leaves. Do you fold the leaves before you run them through the crimper? I just love that look! Hugs, Brenda
