Stenciled Get Well Card

I found a huge 12x12 stencil I'd bought some years ago - probably with the intention of decorating a wall; and then never used it (thank goodness!) That's a good thing considering the big design on this stencil. I had to shake my head and wonder what I was thinking when I bought it? LOL I used one edge of it to make this card, so now I can say the stencil is used :) It's made by Delta Crafts.com.
I sponged on distress inks of Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron, and Picked Raspberry and added a SNSS sentiment and some pink pearl pen drops. I placed this on a Melon Mambo card base and called it done. It's not often you see a one-layer card from me, so surprise!

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Shopping our Stash SOS#343 - used a stashed stencil

Thanks for stopping by to say hello and have yourself a fine day!

  2. I had to look twice to make sure you were the one to do this since it's not your usual type of card. I actually love it though! The part of the stencil you used is so pretty. Love it!

  7. Glad you found this NBUS and put to such good use. You said you sponged the inks, but honestly, it has a beautiful watercolor look to it. You've found another technique that works great for you, as this is really pretty & love the pink & green theme! I'm ready for spring! (and this will be a great encouragement card). TFS & Hugs
