Hey Valentine!

I have another Valentine today with an IA bear holding his heart. I colored him with Copics, and used SB circle and scalloped circle dies to cut him out. The papers are from SU! and the sentiment is from the IN stamp set. I placed it all on a kraft card base and added a red & white twine box and a little red gemstone on the sentiment panel. I used some punched hearts for the horizontal border in red and white.

I just realized that the exclamation point didn't completely stamp on the sentiment, so I will have to remember to fix that before mailing it!

I'm sharing this with the Little Red Wagon #423 challenge - shades of red

as well as the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - It Must Be Love

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Wednesday whatever you do!

Carol

  2. OGosh this is ADORABLE Carol!! Love everything about it. Specially the way you added the little punch hearts across the middle. I also love all the red on a Kraft base. I need to us more Kraft bases. Stay dry sure is wet and icy out at least on my side of the river!

  3. This one is even cuter than the last one of this same sketch Carol! I love the papers you used on this one, so pretty. Your image is adorable ! I think I will have to use this sketch for some Valentines. I haven't make one yet and Valentines is next week! lol Probably won't get any out at this rate, maybe to my nephews, but that will be it most likely. I need to just make and get some into my stash for next year I guess. Hugs, Brenda

  4. I love the texture on the bear! Lovely and cheery valentine with all those great papers. Good that you caught the exclamation point this way. I have sometimes noticed mistakes on my cards only when I see a photo. Have a good day.
