Stenciled Valentine

I used a Simon Says Stamp mosaic stencil along with some Distress inks to create the large heart on this non-traditional Valentine. After sponging on inks, I die-cut a stitched heart and stamped it with a Gina K valentine sentiment from her Stately Flowers 6 stamp set. I pulled 3 tiny die-cut hearts (negatives from a border die) that I store in an empty embossing powder jar and sponged them with matching colors, then added them to the side of the heart. I die cut the white panel with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle and called this one done.

Wishing you a happy Sunday, and thanks for popping in for a little visit :)

  14. Great look with the stenciling...and of course I always love anything with stitching. It's a pretty design, and you picked pretty colors to shade the stencil with too. Clever to save the confetti hearts and color them. I usually just sweep off the desk into the garbage can, then if I need a tiny heart, have to hunt up a punch. Good idea, that! TFS & Hugs
