Here's a card I made for "Cards for Hospitalized Kids" using a free digital stamp from Limited Runs called Vampire Candy Corn. I thought it was a cute and non-scary image for kids! I colored the image with Copics and placed it on my favorite go-to dies - the Lil Inker stitched rectangles. I added some purple edges with a Copic and fine marker to make the image stand out against the pale green mat. The lower panel was made with punched squares of halloween dsp, and embossed with a SU! spider web ef. A few snippets of ribbon and a tiny "Boo!" banner, and this card was done!
I'm sharing this over at "Cards in Envy" where the challenge is "trick or treat."
Since I used all those snippets of ribbon and paper, I'm also sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #200.
Thanks, and have a fantastic Monday!
Carol

How come my Candy Corn doesn't come with arms, legs and a face? This is darling and will be the delight to any child receiving it. Have a good night.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun Carol - just brilliant! Would you believe that we don't get Candy Corn here in the UK? Although I did buy a pumpkin this last weekend to make pumpkin soup :) But hey. there again I bet you don't burn effigies of the Guy who tried to blow up our Parliament all those years ago do you - pity he wasn't carrying some nice food with him!
