My Hamster ate my Homework!


May card today is for the Creative Moments challenge #77 which has the theme of "back to school/Kids rule. Deedee's digis is sponsoring the challenge, and I've used one of her new digi stamp sets called "Homework Helpers." I just love the chipmunk chewing away on the scrap of homework with that funny sentiment! I added a punched star on a piece of distressed cardstock, and attached it with a purple paper clip. The torn piece of water colored paper was done with a retired SU! spiral punch and I also added a little plastic clip to the image panel with a schoolbus image on it. I added some assorted brads, twine and a colorful collection of Recollections polka dot dsp.


I'm also sharing this over at the Tuesday Throwdown #262 to make a card "for a child."

    You do come up with some super fun cards Carol and I really love this. We had hamsters years ago. Your little guy is so cute and a fantastic sentiment. Barbxx

    Seems like I used that excuse a time or two in school too - but it was always the dog ate it instead! Fun and cute, cute card Carol. Love the clips and that polka dotted paper!
