Let your dreams soar!

Deedee's Digis is sponsoring the challenge going on over at the Crafter's Cafe Challenge #123 called "summer fun" so I made this card using Deedee's Digis "Lifted Up" pre-colored stamp set. I used eggplant and turquoise colors, and framed the image using a retired SU! corner punch. I added some mini brads in matching colors to the kite tail bows, and stamped in a few tree-tops using a MFP stamp set. I added a couple score lines to surround the sentiment panel just for fun.

Deedee's Digis new progressive challenge for July is now under way, so you'll want to click here for the details. If you play along, you'll win free digital stamps, and who doesn't like free stamps?!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you let your dreams soar too!

  2. Those fun kites bring back so many childhood memories! We used to spend hours making them - and then watching them crash into a tree! LOL! Fun and cute, cute card.

  8. This is a such a wonderful card. I love the tree tops peeking in there. I have never seen a box kite flying in real life. I'll bet they are neat to see. That's my dream--to see a box kite. LOL!
