Prim Poppies

Today I have a card with a water-colored background that was done with reinkers and a waterbrush. The MB prim poppies were cut from black cardstock for the stems, and from some blushing bride striped dsp for the blooms and buds. I added a little Copic color to the bases of the flowers and buds to add a little depth of color. I stamped a SNSS birthday sentiment and randomly added some pink, black & clear gemstones for added interest. Both panels were cut with Lil Inker stitched rectangles.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a wonderful day, and a happy birthday if it happens to be your special day!

  19. Saw this on a glimpse at the Playground and had to come over for a closer look. This is one of the most beautiful cards I've seen you do, and that says a lot! Love the softness on the background - and such cleverness to use the die as you die, with the wonderful stripe for the blossoms. What an artist you are! TFS & Hugs
