Today I'm sharing a card I CASED from this card that I found on Pinterest. I was completely taken with the CAS look, the sharp contrast of colors and the great embossing. For my version, I used some metallic papers in shades of gunmetal grey and platinum, and embossed them with a CB Geometric Rings ef, and a SU! square lattice ef. The sentiment is from SU! and was done with basic grey ink. The stem was done with a Sizzlet little leaves die.
I'm sharing this with the Mod Squad challenge which is "encouragement."
I'm also sharing it with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is CAS - clean and simple.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!
Carol

Great take on the original...def he colors are an important part...love the embossing!

This is a beautiful card Carol. I love the embossing to the one side like that and I love the white space on the other side. Very elegant looking card. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteShhh... don't tell the person you CASEd but I think your version is more stunning. I was impressed with the texture of the ribbon down the middle and now I learn its a snippet with an embossing folder (and not just any EF, but the mother of all EF, square lattice). Love it! The metallics really make this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. I love the simplicity of the design and the neutral colours are just perfect. xx
ReplyDeleteOh my that is so pretty Love the design...Lis
