You Light up my Life


Today I've made a card for the Allsorts Challenge #304 - which is to "feature a creature." Deedee's digis is sponsoring this challenge, so I'm using 2 of her digi sets to make this card - the "Goody Jar" set, as well as "Little Light." I put the firefly in the jar and colored everything with Copics, adding a little heart-shaped mint green brad to the printed bow. I added some bright yellow stickles to the firefly's bum, and printed the sentiment from the free digi set "Little Light" and matted everything with orange cardstock. The foiled dsp was found at a Tuesday Morning store.

    This is oh so cute, Carol. Love that this little fellow is in the jar.

    I saw fireflies for the first tie a couple of years ago when we were in the Carolina's. They are so amazing!

    Isn't there some poem about how it is hard to glum, when you have a light in your bum? Anyway, it is hard to be glum with this sweet card around!

    I can't wait to see a lightning bug but not yes I guess. Your did this set proud. Love that little heart shaped brad and your color combo of papers is perfect for the image. Enjoy your day.
