Elf Shoes

Today I have a couple "elf shoes" cards I've made for a good cause. The shoes were made from a top note die cut from Sizzix, and cut into 4 equal parts. You make the tops of the shoes by using a 1-1/4 circle punch about 1/2" from the outside edge. The stockings were random strips of leftover dsp (snippets) and the bows were done with a Punch-a-Bunch on silver embossed cardstock. I added some tiny stars done with a SU! mini punch, along with some silver candi dots to the toes. The sentiment is by SU!

This version was done just like above, only I used gold embossed bows, gold candi dots, and light green glittered stars. I'll be sharing these cards over at the Snippets Playground #153.

Calling all card makers! This precious little girl "Addie"needs to be flooded with Christmas cards as doctors have determined this will be her last Christmas. You may have heard about this on the news, but here are the details if you want to bring a bit of joy into this little girl's life.......along with her 2 sisters. I know my fellow card makers will come together and help out. The cards I've made today are heading to Addie and her sisters in time for Christmas. This story makes me realize just how blessed we truly are, and Christmas is the time to remember those who are in need. Please pass this on to spread the word, and let's give this precious child a Christmas beyond her wildest expectations!

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day.

Carol

  4. Great to see the elf shoes on a card. My friend borrowed my top note die and was explaining the elf shoe thing to me but seeing it all done up is much nicer.

I'll check out your link for little Addie, and hope I can do some 'kid type' cards. TFS & for providing the link to a very special little angel's care. TFS & hope you're set for a good wkend. We're s'posed to get rain. Was misty & dreary today. Big hugs
