Precious Love
Here's a card for the November ODBD challenge at OWH which is "hearts." I used a SB heart-shaped die to cut the heart from red burlap and added a MS punched button, threaded with some thin black card stock. The sentiment words are from Technique Tuesday and I hand-cut the banner. This was quick and easy yet still carries a serious love message with that big red heart.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you remembered to set your clocks back last night! It's nice to wake up to sunshine in the morning again, but I'll be groaning when we have to eat dinner in the dark all too soon! Have a great day!

Oh, that red burlap is sooooo pretty! I guess I'm going to have to start looking for some now. It's perfect for so many occasions! Love your card and that "love" sentiment is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI hate the time change - get up too early and want to go to bed too early!

You did a great job with the burlap heart. If I did that, it would be frayed and misshapen. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteLove the heart in burlap...well done!
ReplyDeleteCarol, You've done it again. This is such a strong, visual CAS card that could be sent to either a guy or a gal. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteLove the clean look of this bright card. (Where are you finding 'burlap' - I've not seen anything but premade bags or things). Thought perhaps that you'd colored it...sure made a wonderful texture for this die heart. Ditto the nice button and stitching. Be a great Valentine card for your sweetie too. Love it! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a great love card, great texture without a lot of bulk - beautifully done!!
