I used a Deedee's digis stamp set called "open window" to make my card for today. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I decided to put a home-made pie cooling on the windowsill, with a cat snuggled up on the outside of the window, enjoying the aroma of that freshly-baked pie. The sun is from Lil Inker, and I added an orange punched circle in the center to add a little more warmth to the sun.

    Wow is this a real pleasant, warming sight to see the pie and kitty cat both in the same window. My grandmother used to put her pies in the window and she had a squirrel that used to some and sit next to them. Sometimes she would make a pie just for the squirrel. I love your sentiment here also. Just a terrific card. Enjoy your weekend.

    This little window scene is adorable and so country Carol! This is what my window looks like when I am baking pies. lol But minus the cat, even though the farm isn't without any cats, there are plenty, but non that sit in my windows.     Sweet sentiment and image! The steam from the pie reminds me of hot pies out of the oven...my mom use to bake all the time.

    Carol, any comments you have from Alex Lewis are me - my daughter was playing on my computer on her google account and left it signed in so I have been all over blog land commenting as Alex Lewis with no idea! Lol!!!!!
