Christmas Tag

Today's project was made for this week's Mod Squad challenge which is to make a Christmas tag. I started with a piece of kraft cardstock, and sponged peeled paint and antique linen inks through a TCW tiny circles stencil. I stamped the pine spray image from the GinaK stately flowers 6 set with Versamark, and embossed with winter wonderland ep. I added some Copic colors to enhance the image, and then added some tiny red gemstones. The sentiment was done in dark brown ink, and I tied a piece of red burlap at the top, along with some copper cording to tie it onto a gift. I think this will be a good tag for a masculine gift as it's not too frilly.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're all staying warm wherever you are! I woke up to some white stuff on the ground here in PA this morning! Brrrr!!

  7. Brrr is right Carol!! Our snow didn't lay, so I was a happy camper, no signs that it even snowed yesterday. That's my kind of snow for now! lol I love, love your tag!! I love pine sprays anyway. You stenciling is so cool looking and I love the pine in the white embossing powder with some green copic color. Very wintery!!! I also think that it is a very nice masculine tag. Stay warm my friend, stay warm! Hugs, Brenda

  15. Loving this tag with all the colors & textures. The pine spray is beautiful against the stenciled patterns and the white embossing against the green stenciling & vintage look of the tag, is so pretty. Loved the burlap look of the tie too. You can keep the white stuff. We just got rain. OK by me! TFS
