Mirror Cardstock is Hard to Photograph!

Happy Saturday! I have an anniversary card to share with you today done in shades of pink, grey and silver. I used a piece of metallic silver paper to create the banner and 3 tiny punched hearts, but no matter how I positioned this card, the reflection obliterated the silver color. Oh well, you can see the silver color at the top of the banner and behind the largest heart, so you know it's there! The embossing was done with a CB Decorative Tiles ef, the main panel was done with a SB labels 2, and I used 4 different dies/punches to create all the hearts. The sentiment is a silver sticker, and the brads were from my stash. The ribbon is Smoky Slate chevron and the grey heart was embossed with a square lattice ef. I rarely make anniversary cards, but now I have one to add to my stash!

I followed the Tuesday Morning sketch challenge #237 for the card's design, and made it an anniversary card for the Simon Says Wednesday challenge to make a wedding or anniversary card.

Thanks for checking in with me today, and I hope the sun is shining in your part of the world today as it is here in PA! I'm headed out the door shortly to feel the sun on my face - something I haven't experienced in a long time!
Make it a fantastic day!!

Love this card. Shiny things never seem to show well but the silver gives accents that tell you it is mirror shiny. Cool.

It looks silver at the top and gold at the bottom and is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love everything about this card Carol. Very pretty colors, design, paper, everything. Great job!
Soak up that sun in case it decides to get cold and snowy again - and have a great weekend.

A beautiful anniversary card, Carol. I know how hard it is to photograph some things. I think, at times, I spend as much time with photographing as making a card. Ugh!
Get outside and enjoy that sunshine! It's very pretty here today, too.

This card is just gorgeous. I love the silver/pink combo. You ability to think up layouts and designs is amazing to me. The sun is shining here today also and it is in the 40's. Hope your face enjoys being kissed by the sun. LOL

Lovely. Perfect anniversary card I say. On my monitor, the silver showed great at the bottom of the banner, where the V was. Saw behind the heart very well also. I am so loving the mesh EF on your heart, and the tiny trio tucked in the lattice design. Your recipients will just love this beautiful card. TFS & Hugs
