Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope your day is filled with love and romance! Sorry I haven't posted earlier but I've been busy.........
We got dumped on with a foot of snow! This is looking out of my front door and that sidewalk path has snow piled up nearly waist high. If you look to the left, you can see our black mailbox out on the street. The snow pile along side of that is chest-high, and what a job that was to clear out! 3 AWESOME neighbors, my husband and I all dug that out and cleared a path for the mail to be delivered. What a job! Click the photo to see the details.
Here's our back deck which is several feet off the ground. You can see how high the snow is surrounding the deck! I shoveled this while my husband opened the driveway, and I had to throw it over the railing because the snow on the ground was already so deep from last week's snow storm!
This woman is tired and going to bed. What a work-out we had today! I don't know if this old body will ever be the same again! LOL
Much love to everyone on this Valentine's day! Thanks for stopping by!
Carol
PS: it's snowing again right now and they're calling for 3-6 more inches of snow overnight, with snow again this weekend and then some rain mixed with ice next Monday into Tuesday. Shockingly, after all this, they're predicting a high of nearly 50 next Thursday! My fingers are crossed already!

You and Butch should spend your day in bed and don't even worry about the snow. Just think of that super pretty Valentine's Card you made and dream of a nice island vacation with temps around 75-85 degrees. LOL Seriously, I love your card. You did so much work today, rest as much as you can. I don't want to have to make a trip to Pa. to give you heck in person.
All I can say is BLESS YOUR HEART!!!!
OMGoodness! That's a ton of snow! I would image you're very exhausted! I know you don't want to hear this at all, but I have to tell you....it's beautiful!! Of course this is coming from someone that hasn't even seen 1/8 of an inch of snow in years! Glad y'all survived it all and hope you continue to do so!
Oh, and by the way......PRECIOUS card!!! Very cute and love the red and white polka dots!
Get a good nights sleep!

OH NO......Carol, this is too much! Like you didn't know that. I can't imagine so much snow, though I saw 16" once upon a time and only once. I can imagine how tired you all are from all the digging out. I'm glad to see you still have power or, at least, when you posted, you did.
I love your adorable card. I really like the smiling face on the heart. Just too cute.
Glad that round #2 only turned into 2", at my house. Jim did not even shovel it this morning. He could not be late for work, again! Love this little Valentine, Carol. Hope you got some rest.
Happy White Valentine's Day to you. Just reading about all that snow shoveling exhausted me. The weather is just crazy. Perhaps you should invest in a dog sled team.
Delightful cheery red polka dots! Love 'em. Don't love those pictures as much. Pretty, but cold looking. Glad SC didn't get anything like that. Hope the next storm won't be so awful for you folks. Be careful working in it. I think Princess has the right idea. A dog sled. Hugs & TFS
Happy Valentine's day... Cute card...this is one of those times I definitely wish we were rich...so we could afford to pay someone else to do all our shoveling for us.
