A Birthday Celebration

My youngest granddaughter turns 3 today, and this is the card I made for her. I didn't do such a great job taking the photo, but it really was a festive card, filled with sparkle and all the things a little girl loves. I used some glittered cardstock from a paper pad by DCWV, along with a glittered chipboard number. I used 3 different embossing folders to create the background and cupcakes done with a MS punch, and a SB labels 10 behind the "3." I used snippets of matching ribbon & twine, along with some red gemstones. The punched border was done with red using a fancy scallop punch and the dsp is by Echo Park. The tiny tags were tied on with twine and colored light blue with a Copic marker so they showed up against the white background.

I'm entering this card into the MFP Speedy Fox & Friends challenge #156 whicb is to use "punched borders."

I'm also entering it into Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground challenge #69  since I used snippets of scraps and ribbon for most of this card!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Carol
