Seize the Birthday #6

Here's my card for the Seize the Birthday #6 sketch challenge to make a masculine birthday card following the sketch. I love the colors of this new paper pad I found at my LSS called Blissful Blizzard by Fancy Pants. The two papers I chose are masculine and did most of the work for me. I used a Sizzix die for the stars, using kraft, vanilla and a piece of dark teal, along with a paper crimper for the largest star. I held them all together with a tiny star brad in the center, and wrapped some neutral twine around the middle. The sentiment is by SU! teeny tiny wishes, and I hand-cut the banner I stamped it on. And now I have another masculine birthday card added to my stash :) I love this challenge :)

    All the different measuring tapes at the bottom of the card look cool Carol! Great papers and love the star!

    Stars and twine are perfect for masculine cards and that paper is super. Great card for your manly stash.

    Great card, Carol, good job with the sketch. and I like the dp you chose...what would we do without our LSS? so glad you took me there or I would not have ever found out about it. smile...second thought, I have spent so much money there...Just kidding...Hope you are having a good week.
