Here's a card I made recently that I'm entering in this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge to make a Thanksgiving or Thank-you card. I cut this beautiful fresh daisies die from a white panel, then cut it again from green and lavender cardstock. I embedded the colored portions right into the negative space on the white panel, and added some purple stickles to the base of the flowers. The sentiment was done with an Inkadinkado stamper, and the background was done with a CB swiss dots embossing folder.
Thanks for the visit - I always appreciate your taking the time to spend a few moments with me here :)

Such a pretty daisy and I love the way you embed the colored flowers/stems. That technique makes it so alive. Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty Carol. I really like the two rounded corners and the way you embedded your different colors. The polka dot embossing is the perfect backdrop for this delightful presentation. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love how you embedded the colored papers in the negative space of the flowers. It really makes them extra special! Absolutely stunning!
