ISSC21 for any Hero

I've been stamping and tucking cards for my almost-completed OWH box today, and wanted to make a couple more "Any Hero" cards to finish things up. I found this sketch over at the I Spy Sketches Challenge 21 and studied it for a while before I decided to use it to make my card.

I took the photo outside in bright sunlight, so it's a bit washed out, but perhaps if you click the photo to enlarge it, you can see the details a little better. I used BG Granola dsp along with some PTI soft stone card stock, stamping a background using the SU Flannel backgrounder with Ranger Pumice Stone ink - stamped off once for a lighter look. The rest is pretty much self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me an email.

    Carol, I love the colors in this card and I'm sure a hero will also. Your papers are all so pretty and I love that you carried the square theme all the way through the card. Another winner from you. Have a great day. Today is our neighborhood block party, so I've got to run and start cooking.

    Girl, this is outstanding. What a splendid 'hero' card. Great colors, wonderful crimping, and love the soft stone cs. I could go on and on but just know I think it is fantastic.
