Dynamic Duos & OWH S&S Sketch challenge #126

Here's the color challenge I used from Dynamic Duos #7  - Melon Mambo & Basic Black with a dessert option of ribbon...
This is the sketch I used from OWH Stars & Stamps sketch challenge #126...

After combining both of the above challenges, I came up with this card. The ribbon was recycled from another project, and I just barely had enough to use, so the ends aren't tucked behind the black cardstock. I hope they won't unravel because I tried to stick them down real tight! The silhouette image was a free digi from Lily's Night Garden, and I added a SNSS sentiment along with some black pearls and pink gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty. Quick, simple, and I think these colors have a real dramatic look together!
That's it for me today - I hope you have a great Sunday!

  9. That is such a stunning silhouette! And the colors are beautiful with it. I think your ribbon looks great, but if you worry about that as much as I was, you might want to look into getting an imaginisce.

It's not very expensive (I think I paid between $15-19), it uses batteries, and cuts and seals the ribbon ends in just a couple seconds. You can cut them straight or in diagonals and I love it. (It looks really cheap, but it sure does work.)
