I used some Soft Sky dp along with some Jingle dp from LilyBee, and used a little cherry cobbler card stock too. The embossed panel was done with a sizzix snow cap ef, and the stamps are from SNSS Christmas tags, done in cherry cobbler ink. I used a long-hoarded precious piece of soft sky ribbon with the Spellbinders fancy label die cut and that was really hard for me to use! LOL I LOVE soft sky, and have trouble letting go of all the soft sky product I have left since it was retired. What can I say - I get so attached to my favorite things :)
I hope this can be used by our military with the sentiment I added to the bottom. Some companies may want to send a group card here and there, so I thought I'd try one or two and see if there's a need for them.
It's gorgeous here in PA today with some unseasonable mild temps and I love it! The windows are open and there's a fresh breeze blowing that just makes me feel good! Here's wishing all of you a great Sunday as well!

Very pretty, Carol. I really enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday too. Family came to visit and we all sat out in the yard, and took advantage of the nice day.
this is a wonderful tender and lovely card!
hugs and kisses from germany,

wowzers.. this is a beauty.. I love all the layers. Thanks for sharing ~ Pam

Great idea for that sentiment! And a pretty, pretty card. Love the label you used on here too.

Carol, what a beautiful card. I love the Soft Sky also. It's such a nice fots color. I also love that ef and the way your used the Nestabilities label for your sentiment. I tyhink that was a very good idea to put from all of us. I would imagine that the company or group of heroes may send cards to someone like their chaplan or nursing staff, etc. Good thinking!!! Hey, thank you for the lesson on frames. That is how I thought you did it, but mine just didn't look right, but now that I think about it, I think I forgot to emboss it after I cut it out. DUH!. Talk Soon. (Yes,Go Tony). LOL
Beautiful card!
Absolutely stunning!! I love your card Carol, and think it's actually one of my favorites.
I love how you created the Sentiment with the Spellbinder die and also love the embossed background. Lovely!!
I'm not loving my card this week and after seeing yours, I'm liking mine even less! :)
PS: It's a gorgeous day here In MA too....record-breaking temps in the 80's! Fabulous
I love everything about your card. Such inspiration. Thanks!
Love the layers and colors! Wonderful wonderful card! Love the pops of red!
It's beautiful, Carol. Don't you just hate when something you love retires? Can't they just ask before they do that? Ha
Enjoy that nice breeze before ol' man winter comes blowing through. All I want is some rain..been quite a while.
This is gorgeous - love the sentiment! That ef is great, too!
A beautiful day in Pa., and a beautiful card!
This is a beautiful card, I love all the layers and I really like the Soft Sky and Cherry Cobbler together. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
PS - thanks so much for the sweet card you sent me, I love it, and I'm going to CASE it, lol!
This is beautiful, Carol. Great texture and wonderful designer papers. Love how you did the sentiment tag with the ribbon.
Beautiful work, Carol! I love the textures on your card; I've never seen that pretty ef. TFS.
I loved soft sky, too! Love it paired up with red and all that texture. :)

CAS beauty....love it
Beautiful job with this week's sketch. I like the color combo and especially how you wove the ribbon through the die cut label. I have those dies but struggle with using them, thanks for the inspiration!
